The Amazing Baby Girl

Hi, welcome to this platform. Did you miss the previous parts? Get them here.

“Come here my baby.” Her mother said to her holding her hand and together they sat in a couch. Then she continued, “Liznet, my baby, sometimes life isn’t the way you see it. There is a lot hidden from your eyes and you will only discover it when you get a bit older. I have heard you clearly and I understand your sentiments.” Liznet was listening keenly as her mother sweetly spoke to her.

“You enjoy seeing birds soaring in the sky. Have you ever asked yourself where they shelter from heavy rains and storms? With you, you get inside the house and cover yourself tightly. If you would be able to talk to those birds, they also have a story to tell. They would complain that people are hash to them, cry out because of challenges from bad weather, they also get sick and other many bad things do happen to them.” She looked at her daughter who was nodding her head in agreement with the mother.

Then she went on, “When God created human beings, according to what The Bible says, they were wonderfully and fearfully made. He took ample time to make sure He made the best human being. Then, he was given permission to control all the other animals.” She took a Bible Story Book and showed her some pictures.

” You see all this animals, human being is more special. He was given a different mind and authority over them.” She closed the book and continued. ” In life, there are challenges, but these challenges are meant to help us learn and to appreciate what God has done to us. They also make us stronger and help us appreciate other people’s lives. No matter all the bad things you see, God will always protect you. He want you to grow and become a great person in future. We should always thank God for giving us this wonderful life. Always remember mom will always take good care of you no matter what.” She hugged her daughter tightly and whispered,” I love you so much baby.” “Thanks mom, now I know am better than those birds! And am safe with you!” Liznet whispered back.

Why children should do household chores

Children can learn a lot from doing household chores. Here is a video on children and house chores…for more of such…just subscribe..

Doing chores helps children learn about what they need to do to care for themselves, a home and a family. They learn skills they can use in their adult lives, like preparing meals, cleaning, organising and keeping a garden.

Being involved in chores also gives children experience of relationship skills like communicating clearly, negotiating, cooperating and working as a team.

When children contribute to family life, it helps them feel competent and responsible. Even if they don’t enjoy the chore, when they keep going they get the feeling of satisfaction that comes with finishing a task.

And sharing housework can also help families work better and reduce family stress. When children help out, chores get done sooner, and parents have less to do. This frees up time for the family to spend doing fun things together.

How to involve the child

The secret for involving children in household chores is asking for contributions that you value and that suit your children’s ages and abilities. A chore that’s too hard for a child can be frustrating – or even dangerous – and one that’s too easy might be boring.

Even a young child can start to help out if you choose activities that are right for his age. You can start with simple jobs like looking after his own toys. Chores like this send the message to your child that his contribution is important.

It’s also important to think about chores or tasks that get your child involved in caring for the family as a whole. A simple one is getting your child to help with setting or clearing the table. Jobs like these are likely to give your child a sense of responsibility and participation.

If your child is old enough, you can have a family discussion about chores. This can reinforce the idea that the whole family contributes to how the household runs. Children over six years old can help decide which chores they’d prefer.

You can motivate your child to get involved in chores by:

  • doing the chore together until your child is ready to do it on her own
  • being clear about what each person’s chores are for each day or week – write them down so they’re easy to remember
  • talking about why it’s great that a particular job has been done
  • showing an interest in how your child has done the job.

What I would like to be in the next world – Ciscas

This statement seems to be a bit ambiguous, having in mind that there is the second coming of Christ as per what Christians would say. Others would argue that there is heaven and hell and if you miss one, it means is a direct ticket to the other. Another group would say that this is the only life we have and we should enjoy it to the maximum. Fine, all these are subject to discussion. But according to to this young girl by the name Liznet, the other world was real. She wanted to be something different from what she is now.

One beautiful morning, she called her mother and said, ” Mum, in my next life, I want to be…..”

She was interrupted by a phone call from her mother’s cellphone. The mother answered the call that took a bit of her time. Liznet was impatient, she wanted to narrate her expectations of the next world. She requested her mother to spare her some time. The didn’t take long and after a few minutes, she was through with the call, she took a stool, walked outside and after wiping it she sat down and alerted her daughter that she was ready for the story. “Come here my dear. You can now tell me all what you want. I am……there goes the bell. Let me check whose is there.”

Opening the main gate, she was shocked to see a group of women from one of the Support Group that she was a member. They had come to visit her.

“What a surprise!..I didn’t have any idea of this. Nancy, you must be the master planner of all this!..Anyway, welcome home!” She said as she urshered them in.

Liznet was not a happy girl. Her story had been cut short by the visitors. She had to be patient until the ripe time comes to complete the story. Her anxiety couldn’t wait. She rushed to her bedroom and locked herself inside.

There was a hot chat among the women and little did they notice the absence of Liznet not until the time of leaving when the mother called out,” Liznet, Liznet where are you? Please come and say hello to visitors. They are almost leaving”

Surprisingly, she came out of her bedroom smiling. In her hands, she was holding something which she hid at her back. ” What’s that that you are hiding? Let’s have a look at it.” one of the ladies requested her.

She moved closer and displayed a beautiful picture that she had drawn. So to say, her silence in the bedroom was with a purpose.

“Yeah! This is what I want to be in the next world. Yes, the next life. No sorrow, no trouble, no hustle again in the next world!”

In the picture there was a beautiful bird that was soaring peacefully in the sky. Below it, there were beautiful trees scattered at the Savannah. The picture said it all, “In the next world, I would like to be this beautiful bird!”

Everyone in the room was shocked with the news. There was a moment of silence as the ladies gazed at one another. ” Okay, what a beautiful picture!..eh…ah…but why have you decided to be a bird?” her mother broke the silence, but what mattered to Liznet was that the message had reached home. Yes, to be a beautiful bird in the next life!….…catch up with the next part to know why Liznet chose a bird for her next world… that’s it!...what would you like to be in the next life?… kindly hit like if it is worth it and follow the story…. comment too on ways I can improve.
